Domus Academy students place first in Olivetti Design Contest
We are proud to announce that our students Dominika Wasik, Eda Yalkin, Ishwari Dhadge, Johana Soto and Vedanti Joshi placed first in the Olivetti Design Contest with their project O-live, for the design and production of a 3D printer body.
O-live is a 3D printing solution that facilitates interactive and effective learning by bringing ideas alive through a user-friendly interface and an online open source community. It also helps develop children’s creativity, taking them through a new user experience.
Additionally, the jury decided to give some Special Mentions for the high quality of the projects’ communication. Special Mentions For Quality Of Communications were awarded to students Dominika Wasik, Eda Yalkin, Ishwari Dhadge, Johanna Soto, Vedanti Joshi for the project O-live; Konstantin Berner, Aman Bhayana, Da-sol Cho, Nina Grubisic, Eunji Lee for the project EasyOne; Nabila Ahmed, So-Hyeon Choi, Ardea Krasniqi, Victor Rosas for the project MODULE O; Neele Buddhadev, Rachabadin Sirinarinthon, Thomas Radwanski for the project nonstop!
Students worked with great commitment under the supervision and guidance of Project Leader Sara Ferrari, Head of Design Cluster Emmanuel Calderon Dominguez and Academic Assistant Marta Alves.
