Designers of what, when and why?
Domus Academy presents ‘Designers of what, when and why?’, an evolution of Metaphysical Club, which will be held at the Triennale di Milano – Salone d’Onore, on March 21st 2017, at 7:00 PM.
The event explores the role of future designers in a world shaped by the digital revolution, Big Data, A.I. and sustainability. John Thackara, journalist, writer and theorist of design, will lead a discussion between Alice Rawsthorn, Arthur Huang, Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino, Brooke Roberts-Islam and Cristiano Seganfreddo, representatives of different design areas including technology, experience, fashion and business. The panel will be indirectly in dialogue with composer Giuseppe Ielasi, whose sounds embody the philosophy of musique concrète, which has been long forgotten in the world of design.
“Designers of what, when and why?” with Alice Rawsthorn, Arthur Huang, Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino, Brooke Roberts-Islam, Cristiano Seganfreddo and John Thackara.
