Every year DA set up lots  of services  in order to support students both in their educational activities and in their discovery of the city.

ACCOMMODATION SERVICE

In order to support the needs of students moving to Milan to spend one year attending our master courses, Domus Academy provides an accommodation service to help especially those students coming from abroad in finding an adequate lodging.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSE

Domus Academy organises in its premises Italian language and culture courses for all students interested in this.
The course takes place once a week in the late afternoon, in order to allow participation of the students also attending the lectures.
The course is not mandatory, but the school recommends all its students not to forget the importance of the Italian language and culture in order to facilitate their stay in Italy and also considering a possible future professional experience.

TRASLATION SERVICE

The school offers a simultaneous translation service from Italian into English and vice versa.
Each student requiring it will be given a translation set.
The translation service is active only during the first months of the Master course.

IT HELPDESK

IT help desk is a team of technicians providing assistance to all the work stations of the school, to connection tools and the Web.
Students are also helped to solve problems related to their own laptops.

MATERIAL CONNEXIONŽON-LINE LIBRARY DATABASE

Material ConneXion® represents the biggest documentation and research centre on innovative materials.
Founded in the USA in 1997 by George M. Beylerian, over the years it has gathered in the Library – the library of materials – a selection of more than 3.000 innovative materials and manufacturing processes, coming from all over the world.
Once chosen, the materials are put on an online database of innovative materials and manufacturing processes.
The database is accessible upon monitoring of the each tutor.

STUDENT'S CARE

Domus Academy’s students are provided during the year with a Student’s care service.
The service is guaranteed for all those students who need to speak privately to a person in Domus Academy who is not strictly part of their department, regarding problems and difficulties they might have encountered in the school.
